Over the summer we are running a series of fundraising competitions in Girvan’s Tourist Information Point to win stays at fabulous local accommodation. During September you can win a hot tub stay at Pirleyhill Pods, so pop in and submit your entry asap because you have to be in it to win it!
Pirleyhill Pods offer a vibrant glamping pod experience in one of the most scenic parts of Scotland. From the luxury of your own private pod, you’ll be able to enjoy stunning views across the sea towards Arran, Mull of Kintyre, Ailsa Craig and even Northern Ireland.
Situated in the heart of a busy beef and sheep farm, the pods are warm and luxurious with modern fittings and a high-end feel. Each pod is fitted with contemporary en-suite and kitchen facilities, as well as its own private deck and relaxing hot tub.
THE PRIZE – Win a 2-night stay for up to 2 people at Pirleyhill Pods. The stay must be taken between 1/10/23 and 31/3/24, excludes 23/12/23 – 4/1/24. A £100 redeemable damage deposit is required on booking. Please see below for full terms and conditions.
HOW TO ENTER – Visit Girvan’s Tourist Information Point located in The Town House, opposite Girvan RNLI, where our volunteer staff will provide you with an entry postcard and instructions. Each entry is £1 and all money raised goes directly towards supporting the future of the Tourist Information.
There is no limit on how many times you can enter but each individual entry costs £1. Entry closes at 11 pm on 30th September and the winner will be picked at random and notified thereafter. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over.

GOOD LUCK AND THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR FUNDRAISING EFFORTS!
At present the Tourist Information Point in Girvan is run entirely by volunteers and all funds raised by our summer competitions will go directly towards initiatives and investments that will help us become sustainable and improve our facility. This will allow us to continue offering this invaluable service and welcome visitors to the town for years to come.
Our volunteers at Girvan’s Tourist Information will be delighted to share their local knowledge. You can also pick up leaflets, maps, access the internet, and shop for local arts and crafts. If you want to do your wee bit to keep Girvan tidy, you can also borrow some litter-picking equipment.
We are incredibly grateful to Pirleyhill Pods for supporting Girvan’s Tourist Information Point and their generosity in donating this prize. If you’re not lucky in our competition draw, we would still highly recommend booking your own stay at one of their fabulous luxury lodges!
