Girvan is part of Stage 3 and Stage 4 of the Ayrshire Coastal Path. Stage 3 is Lendalfoot to Girvan (6.5 miles) and Stage 4 is Girvan to Maidens (8.1 miles). Since Girvan is the perfect stopping point between stages, plan for a rest here and enjoy the local hospitality before you continue on your way.

The Ayrshire Coastal Path was created and built by the Rotary Club of Ayr as a major community project to celebrate the Centenary of Rotary International in 2005. Since its official opening in 2008, the path has been managed by a team of dedicated volunteers and it celebrates the natural history and beauty of Ayrshire’s stunning coast.
